Three armed bandits were killed during a gun battle with police while attempting to abduct residents in Kwali, FCT. The police recovered rifles and ammunition from the scene.

A suspected motorcycle snatcher was lynched by a mob in the Dabi-Bako community of Kwali Area Council after he attempted to escape with a stolen motorcycle. The suspect was overpowered and killed by the mob before vigilantes could intervene.
3 June 2025 · Cattle rustling
A man allegedly stole his neighbour's ram, bought for Eid-el-Kabir sacrifice, from the victim's backyard in Baki village, Kwali Area Council, FCT. Vigilantes tracked him to Kwali cattle market and arrested him as he attempted to sell the animal, then handed him to security personnel.
