During a NAFDAC crackdown on banned sachet alcohol and miniature PET bottle beverages in Lagos, one enforcement official was stabbed and narrowly escaped death while another was physically assaulted. NAFDAC's director-general described the attacks as criminal acts directed against the Nigerian state and vowed prosecution of those responsible.
