A local security personnel killed a woman and injured two others, including his girlfriend, before fleeing the scene in Umunagu Amakama, Abia State. The police have confirmed the incident and are investigating to apprehend the suspect.

A young man was shot dead by unknown gunmen on Udi Street by Enugu Road in Umuahia, Abia State, in front of his father. The incident prompted a police campaign against cultism and criminal activities in the area.
