A mob at Giwa-Amu junction on Airport Road in Warri, Delta State, beat two suspected armed robbers to death and set them ablaze after they allegedly robbed a passenger's phone while operating a commercial tricycle; a third suspect escaped and the tricycle was also burnt.

A farmer and his gang beat a suspected thief to death in Okpara-Waterside Community, Ethiope-East LGA, Delta State, after allegedly catching him stealing from his farm. In retaliation, suspected cultists who were friends of the deceased entered the community and shot dead a bystander who appealed for calm.
