Seven students were injured during a robbery attack by armed men at the hostel of Ebonyi State College of Health Science and Technology. The attackers broke in around 1 a.m. and escaped with stolen belongings.

A 23-year-old female student was allegedly murdered by suspected ritualists in Ebonyi State, with her body found on Iboko Road after she went missing. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.

One suspect was arrested for armed robbery at Onuebonyi Junction in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, after police responded to a distress call about a gang of thieves in the area.

A car was carjacked at gunpoint in Abakaliki, Ebonyi, leading to a police pursuit that resulted in the recovery of the vehicle within three hours. Two individuals were killed during the gun battle between police and the robbers.
