Sustained military operations by Operation Udo Ka compelled IPOB/ESN fighters in the South-East to surrender weapons, resulting in the recovery of rifles, GPMGs, locally made guns, IEDs, magazines, and rounds of ammunition across Imo and Anambra states. A militant leader voluntarily disclosed a buried weapons cache to the Imo State Amnesty Committee, which was subsequently exhumed and handed over to the 34 Artillery Brigade.

The suspects fled into surrounding terrain after encountering troops, following intelligence obtained from a previously arrested logistics courier and armourer.

Gunmen attacked Abacheke community in Imo State, killing two security operatives and three residents. The attackers, linked to an illegal oil bunkering cartel, also burned several houses during the incident.
