Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade under Operation Udoka/Operation Eastern Sanity II recovered and exhumed the remains of a community leader from Aggah Community in Imo State who was allegedly murdered. The discovery was described as a significant breakthrough in the ongoing security operation.

Reckless car racers killed one person and seriously injured another at the Imo State University junction in Owerri on Sunday evening. Eyewitnesses described the illegal racing as an increasingly regular occurrence at the busy junction.

The body of a pregnant woman was discovered near the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri, Imo State, with multiple stab wounds. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances surrounding her death.

The police in Imo State discovered the corpse of a missing woman in a shallow grave at a gas station and arrested two suspects for her murder. The woman had been reported missing on October 24, 2022.
