Suspected bandits released a woman and her three daughters after 180 days in captivity following their abduction from Ariyo Community in Kachia LGA, Kaduna State during an Easter-period attack in which several residents were killed. The 4-year-old daughter, who was gravely ill, died during the walk out of the bush; the survivors reached a village on Sunday and are receiving medical care, while other victims from the community remain in captivity.
