A newly married woman allegedly killed her co-wife by stabbing during a dispute in Zaria, Kaduna State. The victim was found with severe abdominal injuries and later died in the hospital.

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency intercepted 1,989 rounds of military-grade ammunition concealed inside sacks of garri along the Abuja-Kaduna Highway in Kaduna State. A suspect was arrested during the operation.
