Kwara State Police arrested a woman for allegedly luring her 3-year-old stepdaughter to a farm settlement in Kaiama LGA and strangling her to death amid a domestic dispute over neglect and jealousy; the suspect has since been charged to court.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly killing his guardian in Ilorin, Kwara State, using various household items during an attack. The incident occurred while the victim was bathing, and the suspect reportedly admitted to the crime.

Three individuals were killed in Ilorin when suspected assassins shot a scrap merchant, who was lured under false pretenses. The victims included the merchant, a suya vendor, and a bystander hit by a stray bullet.

A self-acclaimed cleric in Ilorin, Kwara State allegedly lured a female college student he met on Facebook to his house and killed and dismembered her for suspected ritual purposes; he has been arrested and the case referred for further investigation.

A 46-year-old man was murdered in the Ita-Elepa area of Ilorin West LGA, Kwara State, following a confrontation with local security personnel. Five suspects, including the community chairman and his wives, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

A driver in Omu-Aran, Kwara State, was arrested for allegedly killing his employer by striking him multiple times with a plank. He attempted to cover up the crime by staging the scene to look like an accident.

A suspected motorcycle thief was lynched by residents in the Apalara community after a failed theft attempt. The suspect was beaten to death during the chase.

Four students have been arrested for allegedly beating a fellow student to death in a private hostel near Kwara State University. The incident reportedly occurred after the victim filmed the suspects.

Two female suspects have been remanded for the murder of the Managing Director of Water View Hotel in Kwara, who was found dead in his room with his hands and legs tied. The suspects allegedly attempted to steal from the victim's bank account after the murder.
