A commercial cyclist and a herder were arrested for allegedly stealing a ram from a Fulani settlement in Kenyehu village, Nasarawa State. The suspects were apprehended at the Abaji cattle market while attempting to sell the stolen ram.
18 November 2024 · Communal violence
Three people were killed and four others injured during a clash between farmers and herders in Dogon Duste community, Nasarawa State. The incident occurred on November 18, and police are investigating the matter.
5 November 2024 · Kidnapping
Vigilantes and hunters engaged in a gun duel with kidnappers in Achido village, resulting in the rescue of 14 victims who had been held captive for over four months. Several kidnappers were killed during the operation.
