Police in Yobe State uncovered an illegal firearms fabrication workshop in Potiskum and arrested seven suspected gunmakers during a raid. Several firearms and tools were recovered from the site.

Police in Yobe State arrested nine suspects involved in drug trafficking and youth hooliganism, including two drug dealers and seven individuals for public disturbance and robbery at Ngalda Market. Various illicit drugs and weapons were recovered during the operations.

Gunmen suspected to be bandits attacked the Ngalda cattle and main market in Fika Local Government Area of Yobe State, killing seven traders and injuring eleven others. The robbers also stole approximately N16.5 million during the attack.

A man was arrested in Yobe State for allegedly stabbing a woman and stealing her cellphone. The suspect was found in possession of the stolen phone and confessed to the crime.

A Keke-NAPEP rider was stabbed to death by suspected thieves who stole his tricycle in Potiskum LGA, Yobe State. The police are currently pursuing the perpetrators.
