An improvised explosive device (IED) planted by Boko Haram terrorists killed at least 21 mourners, mostly children and women, in Yobe State. The attack occurred in Goni, Mittiri village, when a tricycle carrying over 30 people was struck by the bomb.

An explosion occurred at a beer parlour in Gashua, Yobe State, resulting in one death and seven injuries. The cause of the explosion is under investigation, with no group yet identified as responsible.

A roadside bomb planted by the Nigerian Army exploded at the entrance of the 27 Task Force Brigade in Buni Gari, killing three soldiers. The explosion was reportedly triggered by lightning.
