A 42-year-old Islamic teacher was ambushed and stabbed three times by suspected Sara-Suka gang members in the Karofi Madaki community of Bauchi State, dying before reaching hospital. The attack reportedly followed weeks of threats after the victim confronted youths who had pasted political campaign posters on family property without consent.
