A military operation in Imezi Owa community by the Nigerian Army reportedly resulted in the burning of civilian homes and injuries to three personnel. Rights groups claim that the operation led to the displacement of residents and destruction of property.

Residents of Etiti Ngwo Community protested against the alleged forceful takeover of their land, claiming that officials and armed youths demolished their buildings. The community has faced violence linked to a long-standing land dispute.

Five members of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association were killed and three others are missing following an attack along the Kogi-Enugu boundary. A joint security team has arrested two suspects and is investigating the incident.
