A man was arrested at the General Hospital in Funtua, Katsina State, for allegedly attempting to obtain the womb of a newborn baby for ritual purposes. The police are investigating the incident further.
1 April 2024 · Batagarawa
A herbalist was arrested for severing the head of a baby during a delivery attempt for a pregnant woman in Katsina. The woman was hospitalized following the incident.
2 August 2023 · Faskari
A 25-year-old man allegedly raped and killed an eight-year-old girl in Kanon-Haki village, Katsina State on August 2. The suspect was arrested by the Katsina State Police Command.

Five men have been arrested for allegedly sodomising a 17-year-old boy in Katsina State. The suspects reportedly threatened the victim with a knife and committed the act at different locations.
