NSCDC Badagry Area Command raided a three-bedroom apartment in Ilado, Lagos, uncovering a suspected fake university that had recruited 106 youths from Nigeria and neighbouring West African countries by falsely promising foreign university admission. The alleged proprietor was arrested; victims had paid fees of up to ₦1.5 million and were also enrolled in a Ponzi-style referral recruitment scheme.
