Lagos State Police Command, in collaboration with a local vigilante group, arrested two suspected armed robbers during a crime prevention patrol in the Odogunyan area. A locally made cut-to-size Dane gun and three live cartridges were recovered from a handbag in their possession after they attempted to flee.

Lagos State Police Command arrested three suspected Aiye Confraternity members during an intelligence-led operation in the Imota area, recovering multiple firearms, ammunition, and other dangerous weapons. The suspects have been arraigned and remanded, while police continue efforts to apprehend fleeing gang members including a named fugitive.

Following the death of her husband on 20 July, a 28-year-old widow in Ikorodu was allegedly threatened, physically assaulted, and subjected to attempted dispossession of her home and assets by members of her late husband's family. The Lagos State DSVA intervened after the case gained public attention, and one suspect was arrested and is in custody at the Owutu Police Division.

Armed robbers carried out multiple robberies in an Ikorodu community in Lagos, killing a CDA executive and causing residents to flee. The robbers damaged CCTV cameras, forced entry into properties, stole valuables, and attempted to attack a property owner with a machete.

Suspected cultists invaded Oreta community in Ikorodu, Lagos, killing three residents, including a physically challenged child, and causing panic among the locals. The attack was reportedly a reprisal following an earlier incident involving a trailer driver.
