A Federal High Court in Ikoyi, Lagos sentenced two Chinese nationals to five years' imprisonment each on five counts of conspiracy and illegal mining of solid minerals, with an option of a N50 million fine. The court also ordered forfeiture of the recovered mineral resources to the Federal Government of Nigeria.
