Two arrested for defilement of minors in Ogun

A female victim was taken to a nearby bush at knifepoint by a suspect in Abaren Village, Ofada area, where she was sexually assaulted and robbed of an iPhone 11, Samsung Galaxy A13, and HP laptop. The suspect was arrested the same day while allegedly attempting to dispose of one of the stolen phones.

A security guard in Ogun State was arrested for allegedly defiling a 16-year-old girl after threatening her with a gun and forcibly taking her to his residence. The police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.

Two officers of the So-Safe Corps were arrested following the death of a man who allegedly died from injuries sustained during torture by the officers after an altercation with his mother. The incident has raised concerns over human rights abuses by security operatives.
