Unidentified gunmen shot and killed a former Chief Security Officer of Khana Local Government Area along Polytechnic Road in Bori on Sunday evening at approximately 6 p.m., triggering panic among residents and shop owners who fled the area. Police confirmed the incident, deposited the body for autopsy, and launched an investigation.
12 September 2024 · Armed robbery
A fake police inspector was arrested in Rivers State while leading an armed robbery syndicate. He was found in possession of an AK-47 rifle and confessed to impersonating a police officer to provide security for cult initiation ceremonies.
