Suspected cultists invaded a market in the Mile 3 area of Port Harcourt and attacked a trader with machetes, inflicting multiple cuts, allegedly over his refusal to pay an illegal levy known as 'marching ground'. Police from the Nkpolu Division responded to a distress alert and foiled the attack before it could be fully executed, causing the suspects to flee.
